IBII THINK OUT OF THE BOX

IN-SCHOOL FIELD TRIP

The objective is for each team of students to create something new from the existing materials in their designated IBII “OUT OF THE BOX” Box.

WACKY "PAPER" HAT DAY

ibii “OUT OF THE BOX” Wacky Paper Hat, In-School Field Trip (ISF) is a creative exploration into your student’s abilities to design, innovate, and problem solve their way through the heart of our organization. Student’s will be challenged to develop a story that thinks “OUT OF THE BOX”  by applying art, exploration and collaboration.

HOW IT WORKS

2 Day Event

LEARN DAY

  • Students will go over the objective of what they will create learn about the basic principles of IBII and learn basic tips tools and techniques that will support them completing their out of the box creations on the CREATE DAY! ​​

  • Students will have a week to review and complete the the take home challenge.  Resource inspirational videos will be posted on the IBII website to motivate them and provide inspiration for their final “OUT OF THE BOX” creations.

Duration: 30-40 min  (School Assembly)

CREATE DAY

  • Students will arrive with their completed take home challenge , ready to create “OUT OF THE BOX”!

​​​

  • Students will work in teams against the clock to develop a theme that will act as the guide for their final creation.

​​

  • At the end of the create time, students will showcase their innovations and share their stories. The team that best “Brings Ideas and Inspiration” to their project will be announced as the school winner via video, the following week.

​

 

Duration: 4 -6 Hours (Classes Rotate)
